Ginger Hood has been a nurse since 2003. She has worked in a variety of settings including long term, outpatient and home health. A majority of her work experience is in the Psychiatric field, having worked several years at Central State Hospital and River Edge. During this time, she gained invaluable experience caring for the emotional needs of others, an often overlooked aspect in the medical field. At present, she works at a nursing home where she enjoys making a difference in the lives of the residents. When asked which part of nursing she enjoys the most, she replied:
“Helping others through challenging times.”
She is looking forward to returning to Home Health where she can serve others in the comforts of their home and play an integral part in providing the Gold Standard of Care that Caring Hearts stands for.
